Arizona Metro Mix, LLC has a need for qualified individuals with a valid Class A or Class B CDL Drivers License for the position of Ready Mix Concrete Truck Driver at our locations in Queen Creek, Peoria, and Buckeye, Arizona.

Position Summary

Operate a Ready-Mix truck in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform Pre-Trip and Post-Trip inspections.
• Backs truck under batching or loading hopper to receive concrete.
• Climbs the ladder, approximately 10-12 feet, on the mixer truck to view the load of concrete for consistency and amount, and to inspect the drum for cleanliness.
• Communicates and directs coworkers verbally either directly, or through two-way radio or hand signals.
• Exercise good judgment regarding work site access, unloading and operation to and from work site.
• Cleans truck after loading and after delivery to prevent concrete from hardening in mixer and on truck.
• Reads, understands, and complies with the Safety Manual and Employee Manual.
• Understands that attendance and punctuality are required each day of work.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb stairs, climb ladders, reach, squat, tolerate prolonged standing/walking, balance, bend from trunk, crawl, kneel, push and pull objects.
• Ability to operate hand controls with both hands.
• Ability to operate foot pedals with both feet.
• Ability to perform sustained overhead reaching.
• Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather.
• Ability to tolerate working at heights up to 9 feet.
• Ability to assemble and move concrete chute(s) weighing up to 30 pounds.
